Favicon is 16x16 pixel icon displayed next to the address bar that on top of browser.

To create a favicon, you will need a graphic editing software.

Once create a 16x16 pixel image with png or gif file. You may upload the images to free online favicon generate site to obtain the favicon.

Create an element-custom-head.html with notepad or other editing program, addin script as below: or

Upload the favicon to the root of website with filemanager under cart settings tab, upload the html file into /content/skins/_custom/skin/templates/wrappers/elements/ (you may need to create one if the path is not existed)

In Cart settings => global cart settings => search engine settings, click the regenerate .htaccess link

In Cart settings -> appearance settings, click the activate cart designer and clear skin cache
