The may be due to misconfig in the progress on adding and setup the slide. You may check and fix the problem as below:
In the slides tab:
- When adding a new slide, you must change the status of Active to Yes.
- When edit a new slide, you must make sure the status of Active is Yes.
In the setting tab:
- Activate home page slider must set to Yes.
If all action was failed, you may try to refresh the cache
- In admin area => Cart Settings => Appearence Setting
- Click the clear skin cache
