How to file sharing in smartermail using file storage feature?




The file storage feature enable email users to store valuable files or document on the smartermail server. These files can be made public or password protected with other users (even non-SmarterMail users) and download them when needed. The total upload file size is equal to your hosting service package disk space limit. (note: each file can not be greater than 20MB)

Follow these steps to upload a file to the storage:

  1. Log in to your email as a user.
  2. Click the file storage button.
  3. Click upload button in the toolbar.
  4. Browse to the file in your pc and click open.
  5. A upload status will display till the upload task completed.
  6. Once the file has been uploaded, it will show in the panel.
  7. Select the file and click for edit.
  8. You may check the public access checkbox to enable public access. if this file needs to be shared with other people.
  9. Click Save.

Note: Some executable or script was restrict to upload.
